F2BConnect (“F2B”, “we”, “us”) operates the F2BConnect mobile app, which connects farmers directly with buyers — to list and discover farm products, share updates, follow agri-news, and message one another. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information collected automatically
- Basic device and app information (device model, OS version, app version) and diagnostic/usage data to keep the app working and improve it.
- Authentication tokens that keep you signed in.
2. How we use your information
- Operate the marketplace and community feed, and show your listings, posts and profile to other users.
- Authenticate you via one-time password (OTP) to your phone number, and protect your account.
- Connect farmers and buyers and enable messaging between you.
- Show localized content such as nearby listings, events and agri-news.
- Send you notifications related to your activity (where you have allowed notifications).
- Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, and security or technical issues, and comply with law.
3. Phone verification (OTP)
We use Google Firebase Authentication to verify your phone number by sending a one-time code. To prevent abuse, Firebase may use device-integrity checks (such as Google Play Integrity) or a reCAPTCHA verification. Your phone number and account profile are stored on our own servers (see below); Firebase processes the verification on our behalf.
4. How we share information
- We do not sell your personal data.
- Other users: content you choose to publish (listings, posts, profile name and photo) is visible to other users, who can message you.
- Service providers (processors) who help us run the app:
- Amazon Web Services — application hosting and database (servers located in India).
- Cloudflare R2 — storage and delivery of the photos and videos you upload.
- Google Firebase — phone-number authentication and push notifications.
- Legal: we may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and security of users and the public.
5. Data storage & retention
Your data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure located in India. We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. When you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we must retain certain records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.
6. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), restricted access controls, and managed secrets. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and review our practices.
7. Account & data deletion
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time:
- In the app: open Profile and use the account-deletion / support option, or
- By email: write to farmersdealsin@gmail.com from your registered phone number/email with the subject “Account deletion request”.
We will verify the request and delete your account, listings, posts, messages and uploaded media within 30 days. Some records may be retained where required by law. See also our dedicated page: Delete your account.
8. Your choices & rights
- Access, correct or update your profile information from within the app.
- Control location and notification permissions from your device settings.
- Request a copy or deletion of your data by contacting us.
9. Children
F2BConnect is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be communicated in the app.
